Probably thought you were too young & hip to be into Bowie. Silly really - I’ve never subscribed to the idea that a particular artist or genre belongs to a certain generation. I was always into all different kinds of music, from 60’s & 70’s rock when I was a kid in the 80’s, to breakbeat, goth, drum & bass & dubstep, hair metal, and yes, Bowie. And Iggy & the Stooges, & Gong, trance, jazz, basically you name it, if it shows skill or inventiveness, it’s my thing - and I’m always happy when other people like cool stuff & either bring me something new that I can get into or if I find they’re into stuff I either like now or used to like. Businessman guy’s a nob. Fuck ‘em.
